TN: 2007 Tablas Creek Esprit de Beaucastel (USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles)

  • 2007 Tablas Creek Esprit de Beaucastel - USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (11/8/2009)
strikingly beautiful aromas of lavender, violets, flowers, red licorice, concentrated raspberry and dusty pepper - acidity, body, length all defined by harmonious precision, vibrancy, focus, and elegance
for the price, the best wine I have had this year (by no comparison) - and this is way better than any 2007 CDR I have tasted and competes with any CDP (94 pts.)

I agree Lorin, this is a really great wine. I wish I had bought more than 3 bottles when it was only $29.

I’ve had two bottles of this in the last 3 weeks and it is a stunning wine!

Tasted this at the winery and loved it… I haven’t seen it locally though. Completely agree with your CDP comment.

I only have one bottle of this. Drink now or is it still very young? I was planning on waiting a few years.
