    Consumed over 4 days. Generous amounts of dark cherry and baking spice on the nose. On the palate, a beautiful melange of Rhone-like flavors – meat, cherry, blueberry, blackberry – mmmm. Perfectly balanced. As others have noted, a lighter style for Cali Syrah, but this is right up my alley and still plenty of flavor. Finish is long and tannic. A couple more years in the cellar to soften the tannins and this will be incredible. Fruit bomb lovers will not love this, but for me, this is the perfect style of Syrah. Well done. (92 pts.)

haven’t tried the syrah yet, but pauls cabs are arguably some of the best qpr out there.
