95% Syrah, 5% Grenache, 15.5 abv...quick splash decant...GORGEOUS dark berry color...ditto the crushed blackberry, tar, white pepper, smoked meat, raspberry puree nose. Wine is in amazing shape! Such plushness with silky elegance...loaded with rich youthful liqueured berry fruits...brightness with lifted sour skin acidity...complexities of white pepper, gooey chocolate brownies, olive tapenade, tobacco wrapper...everything is in total harmony...full bodied, yet there is SUCH an ease to the wine, finesse if you will, especially for the vintage. Fantastic floral and mineral crunch finish that lingers for minutes. World class stuff here...wish I had more! (97 points)
