Bottle shock! Travel shock! yeah yeah [1928_middle_finger.gif]
A bit on the darker side for pinot. Great nose of purple fruits and spice as well as some tea. A bit of alcohol, but in a way I like. Interesting note of lavender in there. Immediately after opening there was a creaminess to it that I loved but it dissapeared. The palate is medium bodied (full for a pinot I guess) but explosive with red fruits a bit of bitter chocolate and great acid. Again the alcohol makes itself felt. Long long finish with barely any tannins. MMMMMMMM me likey. [ok.gif]

This sounds like a wine that Asimov would love, not that I care what he thinks about California Pinot.
Asimov should stick to science fiction. This wine screams California…and I love it for that
