2007 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Pora - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (11/10/2013)
The 6th different 2007 Produttori Riserva I have tried, and the one with theleast charm & the most astringent tannins. There’s good red fruit & tar aromas and flavors, but for right now the finish of the wine is too astringent to be enjoyable. My guess is that there is enough depth to allow for short to mid term cellaring for the tannins to soften/fade, but it’s just that - a guess.
