I don’t know if it’s because she was at SQN, or the fruit from the same source…but I totally DIG these wines!!! They are dark purple and lush with killer white peppery spice and florals, all in perfect balance. I get TOTAL JOY drinking these…and don’t necessarily have to cringe at the price tag. This 2007 is very similar to the 2006…dark oozing purple berry fruit, big powdery white pepper spice, licorice, creme de cassis, coffee, sweet creamy smoky oak, meat au jus. The dusty spice is less intense as the '06 at this stage, and the fruit seems a little sweeter…so I’d give the nod to the '06 if scoring. But this wine is flat out tasty! Would drink this all day long if I could! (93 pts.)

I could drink it all day too. Love her Syrah it’s a great price for the quality of the wine IMO. I took an '05 as a ringer to a SQN blind tasting, it ranked right up there with the big boys. We had an '07 (short decant time) the other night with “The Todd” and friends, everyone really enjoyed it.

I’m a big fan of the wines as well, sucks I only have 3…I think in a few years it’s going to be amazing.
