Great vintage for Rhone-blends from the Central Coast, and this is a great value ($18 here), maybe not a CdP lookalike, but a Lirac or Vaqueyras type Rhone. 35% mourvedre, and unlike 10 months or so ago, the funk was out, but pure Cali fruit. Paired with lamb chops, needless to say, nice match, and kept getting better thru 3 hours. Easy 6-pack plus buy.
