Deep dark purple color that almost stains the glass. An expansive fruity nose of boysenberry and black cherry intermingled with a good dose of white pepper. Very full mouthfeel that I would almost call brooding, if not for the balanced acidity that gives this a nice lift. The white pepper continues on the palate and caries into a medium finish. Very nice – particularly if you like peppery wines, which I do.
