2007 Domaine Dujac Morey St. Denis 1er Cru - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Morey St. Denis 1er Cru (5/24/2014)
Popped and poured. Lighter ruby color. Initially clenched nose of red raspberry, anise, violets, and stone which slowly opened up and expanded nicely through the evening. Lighter weight but beautifully-detailed palate of mulberry, red raspberry, and bing cherry dotted with iron and mineral notes. Structured tannins and refreshing acidity leading to a moderately-long finish of cranberry and stony grip. Nice showing demonstrating elegance and purity on a lighter frame, with the potential to develop more weight with time. (90 pts.)
