TN: 2007 Domaine du Pégaü Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée

Hi Dennis
Not my business interest - I’m not in the wine business, never have been and no plans to do so.

Yes it depends on the wines and there are people who get disappointed when they drink cellaring wines surprisingly young, and on the flip side people who cellar wines they enjoy in the freshness of youth and are disappointed they are not much more complex, but much less vibrant.

Sometimes it’s the wine, but also sometimes it’s the person. I love great aged wines and cut them a bit of slack in a trade off of increased complexity / delicacy vs. lack of intensity or ideal balance. It’s up to each of us to decide what we like, and in which wines.

regards
Ian
