Dark fresh crushed black cherry, raspberry, plum fruit…little sweet, yet has the Italiano twang of tart acidity, good dryness of oak barrel tannin, wonderful dried rose/violet florals, some dark bitter orange chocolate, cinnamon stick, earth. Had this with an amazing veal Marsala…together this could be 95pts!!! But on its own, and accounting for the KILLER QPR of $13…a solid every-day-er…90pts
