2007 Bosquet des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Tradition - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (12/2/2009)
nose: real tasty nose of dark red fruits, garrigue, dark cherries, some cherry liqueur tones, and some bits of herbs and tones of red licorice. Real good depth on the nose with good purity of fruit too along with being well balanced
taste: Good tannins with a real tasty medium feel and tones of red licorice, dark red fruits, dark cherries, and cherry liqueur tones. Tannins are nice and firm with real good balance
overall: needs a few years to fully come around. A real well balanced and tasty CdP that is heavy on grenache. Young, but not brutally young at all, this is very good with a two hour-ish decant (90 pts.)
