If you see this at your local Costco for $27…get it! Well structured for some age…right now, it has loads of blackberry, currants, plum/cherry fruit, with a nice tart sour skin acidity to it, reminding me of the Monte Rosso Vineyard. Great mix of powdery graphite tannin, creamy vanilla French oak, cedar box spice, slight dried greenness of herbs and tobacco leaf. A little on the thin side, compared to most Cali Cabs in this category…but it works well with all its components and full flavor. Seems of good quality…should gain even more with time. Great price point…great wine! (93 pts.)

Nice note.
My local Costo had these for $24.99 for about 1 hour. When I went after work to load up, price was moved to $30. Still decant I guess.

I should have grabbed when I seen…

These are interesting notes to me. I purchased a case of the '05 and found it to be a big fruit bomb with a lot of structure and concentration, but overall rather clumsy. This sounds like a very different wine.
