  • 2006 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (1/20/2010)
    the red fruit here is so wonderfully vivid and refreshing with bright acidity - sweet cherries, strawberries, rhubarb but added dimension of pinewood, evergreen, and mint
    smooth, restrained, and delicious and on the level of a burgundy village. how does TRB consistently do it??? (91 pts.)

Definitely a rocking wine. When I had it a couple months ago, it needed some serious time to open up, but boy was the fruit profile pretty. Just loved it.

#2 best public college/university and #1 best value college for 2010. Definitely nuff said.
