    14.7% alcohol. Dark ruby red. Expressive red and black fruit aromas. On the palate, blackberries, some blueberry and wonderful black pepper. Rich mouth feel, very well balanced. Aftertaste lingers for around 45+ seconds. No flab on this wine, it will only improve over the next 3-5 years.

One of the few Napa wines I still buy and drink! Steve and Carole do exceptional things with this property! (93 pts.)

Thanks for the note, Mike; I’ve got a few of these but I hadn’t planned to begin drinking them for several more years, at least. A 2002 I had this summer was wonderful but in no way needing to be drunk up.

And I’m with you, these are definitely wines I seek out.
