TN: 2006 Joseph Swan Vineyards Pinot Noir Cuvée de Trois

I went through a heavy Jospeh Swan phase a coupla years back…been too long since I’d opened one. A nice surprise here. Glad I have more from a recent reload.

Cloudy light red. Nose of tea and baking spice. Palate is popping with brisk red fruit, lively acidity, and sweet tannin. Balanced spine to the wine. Lingering tart cherry on the palate. In a good place. A nice wine. A pretty wine that goes quite well with my smoked chicken banh mi. A good buy at $25.

Right on Dennis. Good notes, similar to what I got from this wine. I loved the color of the 2006 too. Good stuff.

I think I only have three left and was thinking of giving them a little more age. Love the wine in general.

Didn’t get on board until 07. Excellent quaffing PN. Speaking of QPRs - Banh Mi’s are hard to beat.

Matt-perhaps our paths will cross one day 'round town over some Swan Pinot.
Berry-I could see it benefiting a bit from some more time to round out.
Richard-Banh mi have become one of my go to dishes lately. Easy. An dnce you get the pickling down, you can stuff just about any protein in there and have a good time.
Cheers all.
