    Lush notes of chocolate-covered cherries, ripe black plum, mocha, and vanilla bean. Expansive and creamy on the palate with a burst of grilled orchard fruit on the finish. A bit flabby, unfortunately, which makes the wine seem a little syrupy, but the quality and richness of the fruit nonetheless makes the wine a joy to drink. Mark Herold’s signature is apparent here.
