At first opening yesterday it was fairly closed and very primary with some dark roasted fruits on the nose but faint. The palate was also primary and tight.
Today…
The nose has some grilled beef, white pepper, blackberries and violets. The palate is medium bodied with awesome ripe blackberries but also a nice dose of acid. A bit hollow in the midpalate and the finish is a little clipped. Some pretty serious tannins. I think this needs a lot of time and I bet it would be better still tomorrow. Its Saturday so I doubt if Ill find out
