2006 Brooks Pinot Noir Janus Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (6/10/2009)
Drank last night with Copper River Salmon. This wine continues to teeter on full blown (14.7%) but just rides a fine enough line to keep it in check. Solid nose, great fruit, mild tannins and a medium finish. I really like the Brooks Pinot’s although this is no where near the 04, 05, or the upcoming 2007. (90 pts.)
