Last bottle of 4 purchased some 15yrs ago...I've never liked it! Used it for beef burgundy, and saved a couple glasses to try. Still junk...dark and heavy handed, with zero elegance. Drinks more like a rustic Zin or Rhone...brambly and high toned liqueured fruits...nice "zin" spice...some mushroom earthiness, aged oak leather...would NEVER guess in a million years 1er Burgundy. Perfect for the stew though! And ugly ass label too! (78 points)
