Found this at Veritas wine bar here in Dallas and had to give it a try after reading several board notes. DAMN…it did not disapoint. Nose was very expressive, laden with mineral, mushroom, raspberry, lavender, and floral notes. The palate was somewhat unforgiving but opened up with some air and its obvious that this is on the verge of turning into something profound. Palate shows a hint of smoke, red fruit, perfume, and ever so slight orange peel on the finish. A very complex wine that is not jammy yet jammed with flavor…71 pts…just kidding! I will be a buyer of Anthill Pinots after this bottle.
