This is all about plush and rich darkberry fruit, complexed with mocha powder, vanilla oak barrel spice, smoked cherries still on branches, white pepper, menthol, kirsch liqueur. After having a bottle of 2002 Pride Mtn Res. Cab last night…this wine is VERY similar in taste…but with less tannic grip, and a lot more plush. The finish isn’t as powerful as the Pride…it kind of falls off a bit. But the nose, the entry, the mid…is a dead ringer…this is tasty stuff!!! And the “feel” of this wine is a bonus. (93 pts.)

Oooh, I think there’s been smoking going on, but it has nothing to do with the cherries…

And this wine is JUST LIKE the Pride Reserve Cabernet, but different…
