2005 Pax Syrah Kobler Family Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (1/27/2010)
My BerserkerDay Special! Dark, almost opaque ruby red. Expressive nose of black, blue and some red fruit. Black cherries, blackberries and bright rasberry fruit with hints of smoke, bacon and pepper. A long, long aftertaste that goes on for over 45 seconds. Great balance, very lush, great mouthfeel. A brilliant wine, glad I have two more. (93 pts.)
