From magnum this was deep of colour and supremely youthful. Loaded with fleshy black cherry fruit and possessing some underlying meat and iron. It was intense, plush, voluminous and seriously long. Tannins were perfectly ripe and it was a very good showing, but the wine is miles away from its apogee.
