TN: 2005 Domaine Coste-Caumartin Bourgogne (France, Burgundy

Very pleasant and refreshing village Bourgogne. It still feels tight but maybe it’ll never really loosen up.

Medium/dark cherry color with light rim. Tart cherries, cranberry, green tea and a touch of sweet oak on the fairly intense nose. Bright and focused on the palate, light to medium bodied, lots of precision, tart red fruits, with a touch of iron tang and good acid/fruit balance. Still tight, tannins come in on the finish.
