TN: 2005 Dom Dublere Chassagne-Montrachet 1er

Drank this with some parsnip soup and scallops.

Lightly buttery, atypical citrus (my 9 year old said smelled of dragonfruit), relaxed acid, mineral. Very well balanced. Mid length finish with the tree fruit and fading acid.

I hate giving points (because I’m not very self-consistent), but 90. Would buy again and stock up on more, even at $60.

Thanks for the note. Like Blair and his wines.

I have a 2007 Chablis from him as well. No immediate plans to open, but I’ll post some notes here when we do.
