This is the best Les Cerisiers I’ve had so far. What a thrilling nose of black cherry fruit and spices. Yummy! The relatively high alcohol –14,5%- is excellently balanced by layers of dark fruit, blueberry, cherry, licorice, minerals, sweet oak, and nice acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and smooth with rounded tannins. This wine is very approachable now, but should cellar well for a decade or so…
