Translucent strawberry red in glass. Nearly clear, yet it packs some stuffing. Nose has minerals, red fruit…palate is red berry all the way, rich and supple, it gives up the goods early on. Little bit of heat hangs in, a detractor, but not a deal breaker. Very nice pinot, goes down easy and a steal at $20 something. Drinking over the next few years.
