2004 Silvio Giamello Barbaresco Vicenziana - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (12/3/2009)
The more I drink nebbiolo, the more I like it. If I didn’t know this was a barbaresco, I might have guessed burgundy. Soft rose petal nose. Clear, clean, delicate and pure red fruits lifted by lively acidity. tannins are soft but slowly build and catch you on the finish. Enjoyable for what it is, simple, pure and just plain nice. (90 pts.)
