2004 Margan Sémillon - Australia, New South Wales, Hunter Valley (5/10/2009)
Beautiful medium gold color. On the nose this wine gives of awesome aromas of honeysuckle, beeswax, petrol and tropical fruits. In the mouth it is quite viscous with oily notes of roasted coconut, candied orange peel and that same waxy note as on the nose. To me, it has the stuffing to probably hang on for at least a decade. A fantastic QPR at $16. (92 pts.)
