  light color, some cloudiness, beautiful nose of red berry and bright fruit with full long slightly sweet finish. drinkling very well right now, tasted like a more mature wine, but not in any chance of rapid decline

While it was delicious, it definitely looked older and tasted more mature than I’d expect from a 2004. Heck, it tasted softer than the 1998 we opened next to it. Still, it was delicious, thanks for sharing.

Even the 04s that turned out okay taste more mature than any other Burgs from this decade, at least to me. Some are shockingly advanced, even without mean green flavors. This is not a vintage from which I expect many surprising mature blossoms 20 years from now.
