NOSE: “dark” bouquet; initially tight, but opened up over course of 6 hours; hint of funk; cassis; light earthiness; spicy raspberry.
BODY: sediment present; purple-garnet color of medium-deep depth; medium bodied.
TASTE: cedar; tight and acidic; loganberry; somewhat simple; medium finish; lean. Not that impressive.
