    Second of two bottles, this wine was dark in color, funky on the nose. Dark fruit, gritty tannins, oak and hmmm, a touch of Brett on the palate. Fairly long finish. Saved a few ounces for day two, and the wine has smoothed out and the funk has dissipated a bit. OK, but I will not seek out more.

Nancy - drink them fast and young. The funk is characteristic of the wine and it doesn’t really hold up for a few hours, but as a pop and pour from a new vintage, it’s reliably good IMO.
