75% Trebbiano 25% Malvasia. Translucent copper. Almond and hazelnuts on the nose with a hint of cherry wafting around. Served a bit chillier than cellar temp. Medium bodied and quite graceful. High acidity.
The palate just offers an explosion of complex flavors. Plenty of nutty components,
but refeshing fruit makes this quite special. Blood orange, white peach and sweet cherry all surrounded by just a hint of honey. This stayed light and refreshing throughout. Great finish leaves you considering this for a long time.
Opened this for my daughter’s third birthday cake. A little present for the adults around the table. This wine could
age forever I think.
