2003 Linne Calodo Rising Tides - USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (1/2/2010)
Dark red/ruby all the way to the edge. Raspberry, black cherry, lavender, pencil lead and meat on the nose (did cook meat inside tonight). Drinking very well right now with all the components in ballance. Loads of fruit with no hard edges… reminding me more of an aged zin. Cherry, raspberry, violets and a touch of spice on the finish. Good acidity and some tannins left. Could last a few more years, but is drinking well now. 42% Syrah, 37% Grenache, and 21% Mourvedre. (91 pts.)
