TN; 2002 Dugat-Py GC Coeur de Roy

I opened one of these about 2 months ago and it had mild TCA, but apart from that the fruit was quite pretty, so I thought I would have a look at one hopefully without any faults.

I opened another one last night,
this bottle opened perfectly with no detectable faults, the nose was all about the depth of the old vine fruit however on the palate this wine is still far too young and unformed, small bright berries and lashing acidity with zippy fine tannins leaping around. in a semi closed state and barely awake. If you have this wine dont waste a bottle by opening it, I would say it really needs another 12-15 years to get into the swing of things. Remarkable village wine, the structure and depth of fruit would put a few makers Grand Crus to shame and one day it will be a really enjoyable bottle, but that day is still a long way off
