TN: 2002 Bouchard Père et Fils Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières

  • 2002 Bouchard Père et Fils Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru (1/21/2010)
nose: real rich and nutty nose filled with lemon meringue, bits of green apples, white florals, white fruits, bits of crushed rocks, and citrus tones with a bit of pain grille. Good depth and has a real good richness and balance to it

taste: fuller bodied with well balanced tones of pain grille, lemon meringue, white fruits, minerals, and a good helping of various citrus tones. Excellent medium+ acidity gives this a nice spine

overall: Nice light gold color. Gave it a 30 minute decant to get it going, it was still a bit tight upon first pour, but then opened up well. Starting to drink, but has a good life ahead of it and would be a real nice one to revisit in 3-5 years. No bleaching on the cork either, far from premox’d (92 pts.)
