I love sitting down and sharing a bottle of wine with my daughter, especially birth year wines. We opened this bottle last night to celebrate her 25th birthday. This 2001 Lytton Springs has aged beautifully, offering layers of juicy, ripe black fruit, smoke, and savory herbs. Lovely acidity and silky tannins kept everything seamlessly in balance.
