TN:2001 Pagau Reservee

Took the bottle tonight to George’s California Kitchen, and while the food was wonderful, the wine had a big barnnyard stink. With some time some of the Brett blows away, but for someone like me who’s sensitive to funky smells, this is not a good wine.

So far I have not had one stinky bottle of the 03 Pegau, but plenty of the 98,00, and 01.

Wait til you try the 03, it’s wonderful.

Steve, the 03 Pegau is the only wine that I bought in quantity, bought 3 cases of the wine. Drank about 6 bottles, never dissapointed. Too bad prices have gone way up.
