2000 Tardieu-Laurent Côtes du Rhône Villages Rasteau Vieilles Vignes - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages Rasteau (12/31/2009)
Really nice, full bodied, good structure, lots of smokey meat flavors, new leather coat, nutmeg, cracked white pepper, soft cherry fruit. Very enjoyable and never lost a step being open for 5+hrs. (91 pts.)

Color me a fan of Tardieu-Laurent CdR - always a very earthy wine, and typically a great value.

Yup - good qpr - I picked up 2 from Dan for $16 or so, the first one I rated a 90, this last one was slightly better. Can’t beat that.
