2000 Roger Sabon Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Prestige - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (4/10/2011)
Much less bretty than the last blle from the same lot. That said there was brett. Horsey brett that blew off in a half hour leaving a beautiful traditional CdP. Leather, rare meat, lavender, kirsch, and some green herbs. Rich and supple, round and fleshy with plenty of meaty-savory-feral stuff all rolled into one. An interesting wine that for me is at peak and terribly enjoyable. Well done. 90 pts (90 pts.)
