Been a few years since I’ve cracked one of these and opted for the '00 rather than the '99. Started off reductive as many of his wines are including his '00 Batard which was so reductive 2 years ago I just tossed the rest into the cellar. With about 1 hr of air it really took off thru the last sip. Beautiful minerality plus some white peach (on the just barely ripe side). Finish continues to grow as more air fills the wine out. Beautiful P. Morey Perrieres and just entering its drinking window. Very nice fruit ripeness and of course the Perrieres stones.
