2000 Château Rol Valentin - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru (5/25/2012)
Medium bodied with vibrant cherry fruit and cedar on the palate. This wine has a full, open knit and soft texture. 2000 Rol Valentin has reached early maturity but will provide pleasure over the next ten years or more. I enjoyed this wine which demonstrated old world restraint with new world texture. (91 pts.)
