Tastier on day 3 than day 1. sadly, when I went back for more, someone had snapped up all the remaining bottles at K&L had (at $19.99).

Day 3
On day 3, this had opened up quite nicely, which makes me think this is not actually in its drinking window yet. Still short on the finish, but nose expresses violets, and palate is firmer with candied violet, dark plum, cassis, cedar and forest floor. Changed my mind and may pick up a few more of these. (90)
Day 1
Nothing flashy, but reasonable QPR for a 17 year old Medoc. Violet in the color with some bricking. Nose is showing some secondary cab character. tobacco, red fruits, a tinge of green on the palate. finish comes up short. (87)
