TN:1999 Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques

Drinking beautifully. There’s some Gevrey sauvage, musk, earth, floral spice and pure cherry fruit. It has good depth and volume and a velvety feel. It really builds through the palate and is cut by fine, minerally acidity. It has terrific presence and persistence.

Well done as usual.

Nice one Jeremy

Great notes. I came late to the game with Rousseau but I managed to backfill with a few bottles of '99 Rousseau Chambertin. I missed out of the CSJ.

Yeah, this one is a real sweet spot for me. I don’t have any, but I have friends. At least, I think I still do.

Last time I had this , I found it a little too sweet for my taste . I should open another one .

Thanks for the report. Sounds great. I have one bottle from release. Mistake not to buy more (obviously). Will continue to hold….
