Opened the other night decanted for 3-4 hours.
Dark tarry fruit on the nose and palate. The tannins dominate over the fruit though there was plenty of fruit to go around. Long persistent finish also somewhat dominated by the tannins.
I don’t think the fruit will fade and this may turn out to be quite good several years from now. I detected no oak. Tannins do not bother me and I enjoyed this wine.
