Translucent red in the glass, with some bricking around the rim. Nice primary nose of cherry fruit, menthol & forest floor. Sweet & sour cherries on the palate, with nice acidity and a lengthy finish. Not quite as approachable as the Mascarello Monprivato at this stage, but pretty enjoyable, with the promise of additional positive development. A very nice modernist take on Barolo.
