The color in the glass is bricked and faded ruby with a watery rim, the nose is old roses with a saline twinge and earth component.
Completely secondary with a subtle savoury element on the palate with firm tannins and good acidity.
Showing the full spectrum of a topsy turvy growing season the wine exhibits under ripe characteristics as well as some raisin like porty notes which make for a nervous and unbalanced wine in the glass.
A victim of poor grape sorting and an average vintage
