1998 Antinori Tignanello Toscana IGT - Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT (11/14/2011)
Crimson color with slight bricking at the edges. Earth, cigar tobacco and subtle dark fruits on the nose. Very well balanced and a well integrated mix of flavors on the palate with plum elements framed by a nice earthiness. Almost Bordeaux-like. Nice finish. This wine is in its prime drinking window right now. Glad to have a few more bottles on hand. (92 pts.)
