TN: 1998 Albert Boxler Riesling Brand (France, Alsace, Turckheim, Alsace Grand Cru AOC)

Figured it was time to write and publish a note since I never do it. This was impressive enough to motivate me.

Pale, clear golden color. talc and lime on the nose with just a hint of petrol. Bright, lively and acidic - very nicely balanced with a long finish. Heavy on the cirtus fruit and minerals. Plenty of time left in this one, and drinking beautifully today.

Thanks for the note, Adam. I think I still have a few '98 Brand and Sommerberg but I haven’t tried either one in some years. Gotta go dig them up.
